Every week, we choose a short film to promote the works of great storytellers and their efforts in creating worlds that transplant us to another place, time and, sometimes, dimensions.

We believe that all content was meant to be shared, whether it be with our future-selves or with others, but the media that we focus on sharing and promoting is motion pictures, specifically, film shorts or videos with compelling narratives.

What we do…

We review film shorts from around the world, on a weekly basis, to determine which one to promote for a given week, based on the great storytelling of its creators and contributors. In each of our articles, we provide our own take on the narrative and a rating, in hopes to raise the visibility of their works through our unique voice and point of view.

Why we do it…

We, too, are ideas, media and technology folks, who understand that great storytelling is a labor of love that requires carefully crafted concepts to be artfully constructed through processes, skills and talents of everyone involved in a film project. When we see something great, we want to make sure those who were involved know that we truly appreciate their hard work.

What we look for…

There’s no special formula that helps us quickly determine the virtues of a short film but here is a general list of things that we take into consideration when we review. Although it’s not a totally comprehensive list that takes all aspects of a film into consideration, these are just some of the things that “take us out” of a story if any one of them are grossly misaligned with a potentially great film.
